The PLASMA Data Feed Handler enables teletext pages to be updated fully automatically from feeds of data, adding value to the service with little ongoing cost.

The Handler can accept a variety of data inputs including SMS messages, XML files, serial feeds, web pages and databases. Automated pages can include airport flight arrivals, financial information and sports results.

Users can define page templates into which the data from the Handler is placed, following formatting and presentation rules which are set up using the flexible user interface.

Page updates can either be delivered directly into a PLASMA teletext system for immediate transmission, or as files for importing to third-party systems.
